In Your Backyard Iowa Showcases Beautiful Decatur County |
Decatur Country Development Corporation (DCDC) and Red Hawk Enterprises partner once again to showcase Decatur County on the show In Your Backyard Iowa.
Last year DCDC Executive Director Angie Jensen and Tom Beougher, Red Hawk Enterprises teamed up to shoot a short tourism video showcasing Little River Lake, Slip Bluff, Nine Eagles State Park and other beautiful scenery. This video can be seen on www.decaturcountydevelopment.org and www.backyardiowa.com.
In June 2009 those same parks became the backdrop for a new commercial that aired beginning in July on the show In Your Backyard Iowa. Utilizing local talent for that commercial, citizens of the county got a chance for 30 seconds of fame. Following that in Your Backyard Iowa came back in August to shoot one of their fishing shows at all three of the parks. In the midst of a cold rainy weekend local talent once again shone through and showed the crew of In Your Backyard Iowa how much fun it can be in Decatur County. To view either of those you may go to www.backyardiowa.com
